Sonja Dapper, opens a new window is a Saint Paul-based mosaic and assemblage artist who transforms found and discarded objects into vibrant new forms. The art is made exclusively from reclaimed elements. She collects these scraps to give them one more shot at being part of something beautiful. Think of it as landfill aversion meets creative obsession.
A collection of Sonja's work is on display at Ramsey County Library-Roseville from October 1-31.
