"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it"
~William Arthur Ward
Volunteers help so much! In 2018, our library volunteers provided over 20,000 hours of service by:
- Shelving requested items
- Pulling requested items to fill patron requests
- Mending worn library materials
- Tutoring school age children
- Providing animals for Paws to Read programs
- Helping with computer classes
- Photographing library events
- Cleaning up and gardening on library grounds
Volunteers play a vital role in support of the Library's mission and goals. We appreciate how volunteers bring energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to help out. They are some of our best advocates. We appreciate everything they do!
