Computer and Tech Help Appointments by Phone

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12-2 p.m.
Wednesdays, 5-7 p.m.

Do you have a basic computer or technology question? Help is available over the phone by appointment. Call 651-724-6001 (press #2) to schedule your half-hour telephone appointment.

For questions relating to downloading e-Books, e-Audiobooks, or other library e-Resources, call the library during open hours and speak with a reference librarian for immediate help.

The following technology programs will resume after the library reopens:

Ramsey County Library offers a variety of computer and technology programs including technology courses, workshops, drop-in computer & technology help labs, and one-to-one tech help by appointment.

Classes and Workshops

Classes and workshops are held on a wide range of topics, including:

  • Beginner level, basic computer classes for those with little to no experience on Windows 10 and mobile iOS platforms
  • Internet basics and internet safety
  • E-books and e-readers
  • Smartphones and tablets
  • Orientations to library e-resources, databases, and the catalog
  • Social media
  • Introductions to Microsoft Office programs
  • And more!

Most classes are limited to 12 participants. Search the Events and Classes calendar and register for a class today!

Computer and Tech Help by Appointment

Basic computer and technology help is available for individuals by appointment. Library staff or AmeriCorps CTEP members will help you with emailing, job searching, working on resumes or other documents, as well as answering basic technology questions.
