Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
RCL - Roseville
Community Program Room
Maker equipment is available through a combination of reservations and first-come, first-served.
Use the Library's laptops to design a 3D model, create your own stickers, cards or other cardstock cutouts, or utilize the video and photo editing software.
Access the Library's digitization equipment to convert your physical photos, slides, negatives, cassette tapes, 8mm and Super 8 film, and VHS and VHS-C tapes to digital files. Try the sewing machine or ask questions about the 3D printer.
Ramsey County Public Health recommends that we not schedule congregant programing that would bring children under age 5 in close contact with other families. Join Maker Adult from home; design your 3D print via Tinkercad.com, opens a new window and submit your file for printing online.
Planning a project? Reserve up to 3 hours with the digitization equipment or the sewing machine by calling 651-724-6100. There is a 15-minute grace period before reservations are automatically cancelled. Any unreserved piece of equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis and same day reservations cannot be made over the phone.
Access to and use of the makerspace equipment is free. Limited amounts of materials are available to learn how to use the equipment.
Library patrons ages 15 and older may use the area without adult supervision. Library patrons ages 14 and younger must have an adult with them at all times. Ramsey County Public Health recommends that we not schedule congregant programing that would bring children under age 5 in close contact with other families.
Library equipment should be used in a manner consistent with the proper use of each device. Equipment should not be mishandled or used in a way that can cause damage. Staff have the right to end the use of equipment if deemed necessary.
Use the digitization equipment and convert your 8mm and Super 8 film, cassette tapes, photos, slides, negatives and VHS tapes to digital files.
Reserve time with the equipment by calling 651-724-6100 or visit Maker Adult and use the equipment on a first-come, first-served basis.
