Maker equipment is available through a combination of reservations and first-come, first-served.
Use the Library's laptops to design a 3D model, create your own stickers, cards or other cardstock cutouts, or utilize the video and photo editing software.
Access the Library's digitization equipment to convert your physical photos, slides, negatives, cassette tapes, 8mm and Super 8 film, and VHS and VHS-C tapes to digital files. Try the sewing machine or ask questions about the 3D printer.
Join Maker Adult from home; design your 3D print via Tinkercad.com, opens a new window and submit your file for printing online.
Reservations (Optional):
Planning a project? Reserve up to 3 hours with the digitization equipment or the sewing machine by calling 651-724-6100. There is a 15-minute grace period before reservations are automatically cancelled. Any unreserved piece of equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis and same day reservations cannot be made over the phone.

Maker Equipment
Access to and use of the makerspace equipment is free. Limited amounts of materials are available to learn how to use the equipment.
Library patrons age 15 and older may use the area without adult supervision. Anyone age 14 and younger must have an adult with them at all times.
3D Printing

Design three dimensional objects on the computer using Tinkercad.com, opens a new window then submit your file to be printed with the Library's 3D printer.
Digitization Equipment
Use the digitization equipment and convert your 8mm and Super 8 film, cassette tapes, photos, slides, negatives and VHS tapes to digital files.
Reserve time with the equipment by calling 651-724-6100 or visit Maker Adult and use the equipment on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please bring your own flash drive or external hard drive for permanent storage.
