Every year Library Journal recognizes outstanding libraries across the nation. Ramsey County Library has been recognized as a Star Library for a sixth consecutive year - one of four in Minnesota for 2018.
Library Journal rates libraries based on circulation numbers, visits per capita, program attendance and public internet usage, using annual data that is reported to state library agencies and compiled by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
