Everyone is invited to join our online Tuesday with a Scholar: Nikki Shannon Smith, opens a new window program on February 24. Nikki will share how she was able to join her love of writing and her love for Prince to create this biography for a classic children's imprint. Registration for this event is required.
Kids age 2-5 can party like it's 1999 when award-winning author Nikki Shannon Smith and celebrated illustrator Don Tate join us for Fri-Yay! at RCL-Roseville on February 27, opens a new window. Kids and families will hear how this dazzling Little Golden Book came to life, from Nikki’s inspiring words to Don’s vibrant artwork. There will be a lively reading and behind-the-scenes stories; perfect for kids, families, and anyone who believes in dreaming big and shining bright.
Black Garnet Books, opens a new window will also be on hand at this event to sell copies of this and other books by Nikki and Don.
