Tuesday, June 14

Edward O. Wilson died recently at age 92. An eminent Harvard biologist, Wilson was the father of sociobiology, the study of the biological blueprint of human nature. Join Bruce Peterson for a discussion of how our politics, social media, and mental health would benefit by respecting the instincts and predispositions embedded in our biology.

Bruce Peterson, a retired Minnesota District Court judge, teaches Lawyers as Peacemakers, which applies sociobiology to conflict resolution, at the University of Minnesota Law School.

This program is co-sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of the University of MN with the financial support of the Friends of the Ramsey County Libraries.
