Hamline University professor and author Carolyn Holbrook discusses “Hope in the Struggle” by Dr. Josie Johnson which she co-authored and her own book “Tell me Your Names and I will Testify.”

Johnson’s book chronicles her illustrious life, including her dangerous role registering voters in the South during the Civil Rights Movement. Holbrook teaches creative writing at Hamline University and is the first person of color to win the Minnesota Book Awards Kay Sexton Award.
