Great Decisions 2022: Climate Change with Richard Leitch

This program was recorded on April 15th, 2022.

Join us as we partner again with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of the University of Minnesota, Global Minnesota and the Foreign Policy Association for an online version of our annual Great Decisions series on the most critical issues facing America each year. Study the issues and then join the discussions led by expert speakers. Ten copies of the Briefing Book for this series are available for checkout at the Ramsey County Library, through the generosity of Global Minnesota.

The ideological divide in the United States on the subject of Climate Change has impeded progress in curbing greenhouse emissions. But extreme weather events at both ends of the thermometer have focused attention on the consequences of inaction.

Join Richard Leitch as he examines what role the United States will play in future negotiations on climate.  Richard Leitch, Ph.D. is a professor of Political Science Department at Gustavus Adolphus where he has been recognized with both the Swenson-Bunn Award for Teaching Excellence and the Edgar M. Carlson Award for Distinguished Teaching.
