FobbitWhat's being reviewed in the local papers?  Here you go!

This week, in the    St. Paul Pioneer Press, there was an article about Jess Lourey, who is most well known for her mystery novel series, the most recent of which is December Dread.  She's now publishing children's book, starting with The Toadhouse Trilogy, Book One.  Also mentioned was Christopher Valen's newest, Bone Shadows.

And on the other side of the river in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Black White BlueTana French's Broken Harbor was written up in The Five Spot.  In the Book section, the fiction books reviewed included historical fiction John Saturnall's Feast by Lawrence Norfolk, satirical novel Fobbit by David Abrams, and San Miguel by T.C. Boyle.  Nonfiction includes Black White Blue: The Assassination of Patrolman Sackett by William Swanson, The Oath by Jeffrey Toobin, and Joseph Anton: A Memoir by Salman Rushdie.

Happy requesting and reading!

I tend to like the books

I tend to like the books reviewed by the StarTrib better than the Pioneer Press, I wonder why?
