April 2022 featured artist is Matt Lara, sole owner of Blasted Ink Studio in St. Paul. After working as an apprentice in 2012 at a tattoo shop here in Minnesota, he opened his own studio in 2015 at the age of 23. Matt currently employs four apprentices and four artists. Cleanliness and sanitation are most important to Matt, and he works to ensure every customer and tattoo artist is safe and satisfied throughout the entire process.
