The average teenager absorbs more than 10 hours of media a day. Boys Speak! will teach media literacy and video production skills as participants create their own unique video response to a documentary about gender in media for boys.
Registration is required, must be able to attend all four days. Class limited to 12 participants.

Appropriate for girls ages 11 - 14.
Ramsey County Library and CTV North Suburbs invite girls to a media-making experience over spring break. Participants will learn about gender stereotyping in the media, video production and how to tell their own stories. A final screening of the media projects produced by participants will show at the library in Roseville. A great opportunity for girls who are interested in writing, acting, film or television production. Registration is required, must be able to attend entire workshop.
