Books in the News - 11/11/12

Here are the books being written about in the local press this week!

Starting with the Star Tribune Books [1]section, titles featured this week include Dear Life [2], a new collection of short stories by Alice Munro, Ian Frazier's The Cursing Mommy's Book of Days, a mystery by B.A. Shapiro called The Art Forger [3], and Sweet Tooth [4] by Ian McEwan.  Other books reviewed include The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor [5] by Jake Tapper and Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm: A New English Version [6] by Philip Pullman.

Over at the Pioneer Press, the books section included a review of Blasphemy [7] by Sherman Alexie and an article about the self-publishing event called Books on a Boat [8] on Wednesday, November 14.
