Here's what books appeared in our local newspapers over the weekend!
Julie Kramer's Riley Spartz mystery, Shunning Sarah, was also highlighted, along with her busy August bookstore tour schedule.
Over at the Star Tribune, some of the fiction books profiled include Juliet in August by Dianne Warren, a debut novel set in Saskatchewan, The Taliban Cricket Club by Timeri N. Murari, and You & Me by Padgett Powell, as well as a translated French novel by Andrei Makine called The Life of an Unknown Man.
Short story collections include the spooky Windeye by Brian Evenson and West-set Battleborn by Claire Vaye Watkins. The sole nonfiction selection profiled this week is Where They Stand by Robert W. Merry, subtitled The American Presidents in the Eyes of Voters and Historians.
