We're excited to offer a collection of fresh, popular titles in downloadable eBook format! Hassle-free eBooks can be downloaded in the comfort of your own home and automatically return themselves, so you'll never pay a penny in overdue fees.

You can download OverDrive® eBooks to your PC or MAC, or read them on a wide variety of e-readers and other portable devices. You'll find a list of compatible devices, along with downloading instructions and an exciting array of available titles on Ramsey County Library's OverDrive website.

Borrowing and Renewal Policies:

  • Ramsey County Library card holders may check out OverDrive eBooks.
  • A maximum of 10 eBooks can be checked out at a time.
  • eBooks are checked out for 7, 14, or 21 days.
  • eBooks may not be renewed, but can be checked out again if available when the checkout period ends.
  • If a title is checked out, a request for the title may be placed.  Request limit is 10 items.
  • Up to 15 items may be placed in the cart while browsing.
  • eBooks cannot be downloaded to the Library's publicly used computers.

eAudiobooks by OneClickdigital

OneClickdigitalOneClickdigital ® has replaced Netlibrary as our source for downloadable audiobooks. Get started by creating a OneClickdigital ® account and going through the step-by-step online tutorial. All titles are now iPod-compatible. Please note: some users have been experiencing problems downloading audiobooks to certain devices. OneClickdigital ® is working to improve the service. To minimize problems, make sure you have the latest version of the Media Manager downloaded on your computer.

Borrowing and Renewal Policies:

  • Users whose cards are registered with Ramsey County Library may check out OneClickdigital eAudiobooks. 
  • A maximum of 10 eAudiobooks can be checked out at a time. 
  • eAudiobooks can be checked out for a maximum of 21 days.
  • eAudiobooks may be renewed one time for a period of 7 days, and can be checked out again if available when the checkout period ends.
  • Multi-access titles may be checked out to an unlimited number of simultaneous users.
  • Single-access titles may be checked out to one user at a time. If a single access title is checked out, a request for the title may be placed. Request limit is three items.
  • eAudiobooks cannot be downloaded to the Library's publicly used computers.
