Here's the rundown on the books in our local newspapers!
The Pioneer Press devoted their Sunday Life section to wonderful, in-depth coverage of the Minnesota State Fair, so no books were featured this week.
At the Star Tribune, some of the titles covered in their Books section included One Last Thing Before I Go by Jonathan Tropper (fiction), Trickster's Point--the new Cork O'Connor mystery by WIlliam Kent Krueger, and The Orchardist by Amanda Koplin (historical fiction).
In the realm of non-fiction, titles included Winter Journal by Paul Auster, a personal meditation on the body, time and language, the descriptively titled Dreamland: Adventures in the Strange Science of Sleep by David K. Randall, the Wisconsin-set Visiting Tom: A Man, a Highway, and the Road to Roughneck Grace by Michael Perry, and The Future Is Not Ours: New Latin American Fiction edited by Diego Trelles Paz. Happy reading!
