What books are the buzz in our December local newspapers? Here's the scoop!
Our friends at the Pioneer Press Readers and Writers column are focusing on coffee table books about travel and history. Titles include:

- Royal Cities of the Ancient Maya by Michael D. Coe, photographs by Barry Brukoff
- Great Empires by Stephen G. Hyslop and Patricia Daniels
