Join a Book Club - It's Free and Fun!

Ramsey County Library invites you to join one of our many book clubs. From mysteries to nonfiction, there is a book club for everyone at Ramsey County Library.

We also offer Book Club in a Bag, which is an easy way for you to start your own book club. We provide the books and all the information you need to have a great discussion - you provide the readers.

The New Brighton Book Club meets the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the discussion.

The Maplewood Eclectic Book Club discusses a variety of books from classics to modern literary fiction. We generally read a mystery, a science fiction selection, a young person's book and a non-fiction title each year. Meetings are held on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:45 p.m. in the Community Program Room. The library in Maplewood is hosting a monthly Knitting Book Club called Knit-Lit, mixing the popular craft of knitting with reading.

A diverse mix of reading materials, including fiction, non-fiction, kids, teens and knitting instruction books, will be featured. Speakers will also be hosted.

Knit-Lit will meet the second Tuesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. All ages are welcome. Come knit one, read too!

If you enjoy reading mysteries, consider coming to one of our Mystery Club meetings. Newcomers are always welcome! Meetings run about an hour and are held in the Shoreview Meeting room. If you come to the Thursday group, feel free to bring a brown bag lunch. If you have any questions, please see Lynette at the Circulation Desk.
